JAMMU, July 28: To lodge their protest against the dilapidated condition of link road to Simble Camp RS Pura, a protest demonstration was organised by Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) here today.
The protestors led by Ch Gharu Ram ex Minister and Zonal President in presence of ex MLA & Vice President Jammu Province Ashok Sharma raised slogans against the concerned department and demands for early construction of the road link to RS Pura.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch Gharu Ram said that this a serious issue as the depleted condition of rural roads causing hardship to the people.
He demanded immediate repair of link road to Simble Camp.
Ashok Sharma sought intervention of the LG Sinha and demanded constitution of inquiry commission to look into the cause of depleted conditions of the link roads connecting the villages in Jammu Province.
Among others who participated in the protest included Rattan Lal, Ashok Bhagat, Balbir Singh, Kamalpreet Singh, Kulwant Singh Chib and Baldev Singh.
