SRINAGAR, Oct 10: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Abdul Haq while replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Dr. Shehnaz Ganai regarding upgradation of Media Complex informed the House that Government is contemplating to establish a Media Center with advanced equipments in premises of the existing Media Complex, at Poonch.
He further informed that the DPRs for up-gradation of the Media Complex Poonch, construction of hall and procurement of required equipments have already been framed with the financial implication to the tune of Rs 22.88 lakh. He said the matter is being taken up with the Planning & Development/ Finance Department for their concurrence and when concurrence with authorization of funds from the concerned departments would be received, a vibrant and effective Media Complex with adequate facilities would be established at Poonch.
