JAMMU, Oct 30: Delhi Public School, Jammu orgainsed an intersection fashion show competition for the students of class IV and V wherein 280 students participated in the event.
Sundari Yadav and Nadhu Lohia were the chief guest on the occasion, praised the children for putting up a wonderful show and admired their grace, poise and confidence.
Meenu, Gupta, Headmaster, upto middle school, while welcome the guests stated that in todays time there is a great need to make the children aware about their rich Indian culture and traditions at an early age.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Director/ Principal Dr D Joseph congratulated the winners and said that such competition brings out the hidden talent of the tiny scholars and are good for their overall development and grooming their personality.
Class 4th I bagged the first prize and 4th J secured the second position. Class 5th C clinched the first position while 5th E was adjusted the runners up in the competition.
The trophies were also distributed among the winners by the chief guest and Principal of the school.
