LEH, July 11: Delhi Public School (DPS) Leh student Gulnaaz Fatima of 8th standard brought laurels to the school in the Inter-School English Essay Writing Competition in connection with the celebration of Birth Anniversary of Padma Bhushan 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche.
The programme was organized by Organizing Committee Spituk in various events in which more than fifty schools of Leh district Private as well as Govt schools participated.
Gulnaaz Fatima of DPS Leh got 3rd position in English Essay Writing Competition the result of which was declared yesterday.
It is pertinent to mention here that more than 200 students participated in it.
The Prizes were distributed by Stanzin Thinless, Chairman Air commanding Force in a glittering function.
Gulnaaz Fatima was awarded with a shield, citation besides Rs1000 as a cash prize.
Principal and Pro-Vice Chairman lauded the efforts of the student for this achievement.
