DPS organizes computer training programme

KISHTWAR, Oct 7: Dulhasti Power Station (DPS) of NHPC Limited organized a three month computer training programme for 20 meritorious students of Government schools from BPL category under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR-SD) Scheme of NHPC Limited.
The programme was inaugurated by Ajay Mathur, Chief Engineer (civil), Dulhasti Power Station, in the presence of Om Prakash, Senior Manager (HR) and all heads of the schools wherefrom the students were identified for training.
Speaking on the occasion, Mathur said that the computer training needs of the students, particularly those of Government schools cannot be ignored in this computer age and hoped that the training programme shall stand the students in a good stead in the times to come.
He also assured about taking many other initiatives in the education sector under CSR-SD programme by Dulhasti Management.
Om Prakash advised the students to make judicious use of the time during the training so that they come out of the institute with a good knowledge of the computer operation.
