Dr Amita bags Academic Excellence Award

JAMMU, June 9: Dr Amita Fotedar, a daughter of the soil who is PhD in Environmental Science from Jammu University and currently political advisor for the Climate Change National Adaptation Plan, New Zealand in the Ministry of the Primary Industries, Government of New Zealand has secured first place in the Post Graduate Diploma in International Studies from International Pacific University (New Zealand Campus) and has become a recipient of the Academic Excellence Award.
Dr Fotedar is an experienced research consultant / Technical Advisor with a demonstrated history of working in prestigious organisations such as the UNDP , European Regional Hub, Istabul, International Water Management Institute, Sri Lanka and Indian Institute of Sciences , Bangalore. She has also achieved certification in Climate Studies from Harvard University and a specialization in Sustainable Energy from the University of Queensland, Australia,. She is co founder and research Advisor for New Zealand based Sustainability and Environmental Services Entity and also a member of the Environmental Peace Building Association at DSG Academy offering membership.
