JAMMU, Oct 14: Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, today visited the Ziyarat Dastgeer Sahib at Khanyar, Srinagar, to review the arrangements for the Annual Urs celebrations.
During her visit, Dr Andrabi offered prayers and inspected the facilities provided by the Waqf Board in coordination with various Government departments.
After interacting with pilgrims and management staff, Dr Andrabi directed improvements to the facilities to ensure a smoother experience for devotees.
She expressed gratitude to the district administration and other departments for their support in organizing the Urs.
Speaking to the media, Dr Andrabi emphasized the significance of Dastgeer Sahib, revered across communities in Kashmir.
“The teachings of Dastgeer Sahib are universally relevant. He is the epitome of spiritual excellence, and through these celebrations, we honour the values of human excellence,” she said.
Dr Andrabi concluded her visit by praying for peace and prosperity for all humanity.
