JAMMU, Mar 19: Dr Avtar Singh, Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon and AI Robotic Joint Replacement Specialist at Amandeep Group of Hospitals, has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Surgeon Society of India (SSI), in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of orthopaedics.
Dr Singh is a visionary leader and has been a beacon of excellence in the medical field for over 30 years. Throughout his career, Dr Singh has demonstrated exceptional skill and expertise in treating a wide range of orthopaedic conditions. From navigation technique to AI robotic-based joint resurfacing technique, he has been an epitome in all.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Avtar Singh has been a philanthropist as well. Moreover, he has contributed to orthopaedic literature and academic pursuits that have inspired future generations of orthopaedic specialists. Upon receiving the award, Dr Singh said, “I express my gratitude to the Surgeon Society of India and dedicate the honour to my mentors, colleagues, and patients who have been instrumental in my journey.”
