JAMMU, Oct 18: Dr Avtar Singh, Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon, Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar has been invited to participate in two-day Masters Course in Knee Arthoplasty conference in Rome, the capital city of Italy on October 20 and 21.
The conference is being organized by Exactech Medical Education (EME), Gainsvile, Florida, USA. Orthopaedic Surgeons from various countries are participating in this prestigious conference.
Main agenda of the conference is latest development and techniques in Knee replacement. Dr Avtar Singh will deliver two lectures during the conference: First lecture will be based on Indian Patients replacing their knees- their habits of sitting, walking, and posture. Comparative study with Western patients will also be discussed. Second lecture will be based on “Puss in knee & its treatment”.
Here, it is worth mentioning that only 2 doctors from India have been selected for this prestigious conference including Dr Avtar Singh, who left for Italy yesterday to participate in the conference.
