JAMMU, Aug 19: Dr Banarsi Lal, Sr Scientist & Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Reasi of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has been conferred with ‘Outstanding Scientist Award-2022’.
The award was conferred upon him during the international conference on “Recent advances in Agricultural, Biological and Applied Research”, held recently at Nagaon in Assam State, organised by the Esteem Society for Biotic and Environmental Research (SBER) in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Dr Banarsi was selected for the award on the basis of his commendable contributions and meritorious achievements in the field of agriculture. The research panel considered him for the Outstanding Scientist Award on the basis of his exponential communication model, for promotion of organic farming and lemongrass farming, research publications etc.
