Dr Bhatia elected President of Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences

JAMMU, May 8: Dr A.S.Bhatia, Professor and Head Department of Biochemistry Government Medical College Jammu has been elected President of Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences, a Pan European and Pan Indian organization of Medical Researchers, Scientists & Clinicians in a meeting held in Era Medical University Lucknow Utter Pradesh today.
IABS has its members from different corners of the world including USA, UK, Germany, Netherland, Canada, Australia, UAE, Bollivia including the members from all premier institutions of the country including AIIMS New Delhi, PGI Chandigarh, CMC Ludhiana, CMC Vellore, Lukhnow, Mumbai among many others.
He was elected in the presence of founder member Prof. Hari S Sharma of Pathology & Clinical Bioinformatics from Netherland and Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Vice Chancellor Era Medical University Lucknow & President Indian Society for Lead Awareness and Research India. Professor Venkatesh, the led man of the country was also present.
