Dr Bhawani elected JKATA president

JAMMU, Nov 20: Dr Bhawani Singh has been elected as president of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) for Jammu province.
In a meeting of the provincial committee of the body held here today, Dr Bhawani Singh was unanimously elected as president. It was also decided in the meeting held under the chairmanship of  Dr Vishal Manhas that the remaining executive committee will remain unchanged. Dr Manjeet Singh and Dr Yasir Tak will continue to function as vice presidents and Dr Rajiv as general secretary of the body. Dr Surinder Radotra was suspended from the Association  amidst certain complaints.
Meanwhile, Chairman JKATUF, Dr Sohail and other members extended full support to Dr Bhawani Singh and said that major demand of the technocrats regarding batch-wise regularization will be projected strongly. The members criticized the government for causing delay in their regularization.
