Dr Farooq Abdullah launches Ashu Bansal’s poetry collection ‘Kavita Ka Safar’

JAMMU, Jan 6: Dr Farooq Abdullah launched Ashu Bansal’s debut poetry book, “Kavita Ka Safar”, at KC Emporia here on January 5, 2024.
The event, organized by Ashu’s family, including her husband Ajay Bansal and daughters Kyra and Dhanak Bansal, attracted literature lovers, notable dignitaries, and well-wishers.
Kavita Ka Safar, published by The Penman Press, is a collection of 50 poems that explore themes like relationships, nature, childhood, aspirations, and the emotions that shape life.
As per a statement, the book highlights Ashu Bansal’s unique voice as a poet, drawing inspiration from her personal experiences.
During the event, she shared insights into the creation of the book and the emotions behind her verses.
The evening’s key moment was the unveiling of the book by Dr Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, who praised Ashu Bansal for her poetic talent.
Other distinguished guests included Sanjay Aggarwal, Managing Director of Jammu Motors (P) Ltd, Dr Sanjay Bansal, National President of FTII, and Bharat Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC House of Realty.
The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony, followed by speeches from Ashu Bansal and the Chief Guest.
Guests had the chance to interact with the poetess and dignitaries, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere.
The event was hosted by Sheeba Kant, a renowned voiceover artist.
