JAMMU, Apr 25: Dr. Ghanshyam Dev Gupta, Head of Department of Radio Diagnosis, GMC today took over the charge of Principal from Dr. Shashi Gupta.
After assuming the office, Dr. Gupta said that his focus would be to modernize all departments and improve the health services in the institution.
Dr. Ghanshyam pursued MD at Government Medical College Jammu in 1987. He worked as Registrar, JMC Srinagar from 1988 to 1991. In 1991, Dr. Ghanshyam was appointed as Lecturer in the Government Medical College, Jammu. He was promoted as Professor and HoD Radio Diagnosis and Imaging, GMC Jammu in 2004.
