Srinagar, Oct 22: Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saleem Mir, Head of the Department of Surgery at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, has been elected vice-president (North Zone) of the Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of India (SELSI).
The election took place during the Endosurg 2024 conference at AIIMS, Delhi, where Prof. Dr. Varinder Kumar Bansal, Professor of Surgery at AIIMS, nominated Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saleem Mir, with unanimous support from the SELSI governing body.
This prestigious appointment acknowledges Prof. Dr. Mir’s significant contributions to the field of surgery, particularly in endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques.
