JAMMU, Aug 16: Government today suspended Dr Ishtiyaq Abdullah, Assistant Professor (Orthopaedics), Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla, with immediate effect.
“The doctor has been placed under suspension in terms of Rule-31 of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956,” said an order issued today. The order further stated that during the period of suspension, Dr Ishtiyaq shall remain attached in the office of the Principal, GMC Handwara.
