Srinagar, Aug 16: The Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department today appointed Dr. Jahangir Bakshi as the Director of Health Services, Kashmir.
Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, who previously held the position, has been transferred and posted as Director Coordination for the new Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir. According to an order issued in this regard, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, who was currently in charge of Director Health Services, Kashmir, has been transferred and will now serve as Director Coordination for the new Government Medical Colleges in Jammu and Kashmir, with immediate effect.
“Consequently, Dr. Jahangir Bakshi, In-Charge Medical Superintendent at the Super Specialty Hospital, Srinagar, shall take over the charge of Director Health Services, Kashmir,” the order stated.
