Dr Jitendra brought game changing projects for J&K: Khajuria

UDHAMPUR, June 4: BJP senior vice president, Pawan Khajuria has highly acclaimed the role of Union Minister and BJP MP from Kathua -Udhampur-Doda- Lok Sabha constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh for taking keen interest for the development of his constituency and welfare of the people of Union Territory.
Talking to reporters here, today, Pawan Khajuria said it was with the efforts of the MP that game changing developmental projects were not only brought for his constituency but for the entire UT of J&K and after their Completion they will really change the fate of the people of the UT.
He said apart from development projects brought by him from time to time he has shown lot of concern for the people affected by lockdown during present Pandemic and dispatched food items, sanitizers, face masks etc. for the public. Besides, Rs 32 lakh have been released for health facilities for the residents of Udhampur in the COVID epidemic by the Minister, Khajuria added.
“On behalf of all the residents of district Udhampur, we compliment the Minister from the core of our heart”, he said.
Khajuria also expressed happiness over the introduction of telemedicine facility for the local residents by the district administration and said that the local residents and people remote areas who are concerned about their health will be benefited with the facility started by the District Devel-opment Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib.
Those who could not avail the OPD facility in the hospital, this facility would prove to be very beneficial for them, he added.
He also expressed great satisfaction over the keen interest taken by Dr Jitendra Singh in construction of Devika Rejuvination Project in Udhampur saying that the Devika was ignored by successive Congress and NC governments who ruled the erstwhile State for about 60 years. He said with the completion of the project the Udhampur will be hub of religious tourism after Mata Vaishno Devi and credit for same goes to Dr Jitendra Singh.
District vice president and Councilor, Vikas Sharma, Udhampur BJP Mandal president, Vivek Gupta and BJP Mandal general secretary, Rahul Gupta were also present with him in the press conference.
