Dr Jitendra comes to rescue of poor youth

JAMMU, June 24: To come to the rescue of a poor youth from village Dhara in Doda district who lost his arm in accident yesterday, Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh issued immediate instructions to District Development Commissioner, Doda who is also head of District Red Cross Society (DRCS) to sanction Rs one lakh out of Red Cross Fund for the treatment of the youth.
As per reports, Dr Jitendra Singh after coming to know about the incident through his staff member, Bharat Sharma wasted no time in giving instructions to DDC, Doda to release the amount in the favour of the youth from Red Cross Fund for his treatment.
A youth Dimple Kumar, son of Bitu Ram of village Dhara in Doda lost his arm in the accident and the poor family had no money for his treatment. Dr Jitendra Singh after coming to know of the same issued instructions to DDC Doda who immediately released the amount for the treatment of the youth who was shifted to Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar for the treatment.
The father of the youth has highly complimented the Union Minister who also represents the Kathua-Udhampur -Doda Lok Sabha Constituency for this gesture and help. He said the timely help and support provided by the MP has generated a hope in the family which was in great distress after their young son met an accident and lost his arm.
Ram said Dr Jitendra Singh has also assured them more help for the treatment and this good will gesture shown by him was a great support to the family and this hour of tragedy and they realized that the Modi Government is solidly at the back of the poor and needy.
