BHAROCH (GUJARAT), Nov 7: As a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s State-wide mass contact campaign, Union Minister and BJP Election Co-incharge for Gujarat, Dr Jitendra Singh launched “Gujarat Gaurav Sampark Abhiyan” from here today, in which BJP Karyakartas in large number went from door-to-door and handed over pamphlets containing messages from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior Party leaders. Bharoch MLA Dushyantbhai Patil and senior office bearers of BJP participated in the programme.
Earlier, on his arrival at Bharoch from Surat, Dr Jitendra Singh was received by State Cooperative Minister Ishwarbhai Patel and senior functionaries of State Cooperative Societies.
Speaking to media persons, Dr Jitendra Singh said, one of the highlights of the working style of Narendra Modi is that each initiative of the government has transformed into a mass campaign or a “Jan Andolan”. Remonetization and introduction of GST are the most glaring instances of this phenomena, he said.
It is therefore, in the fitness of things, Dr Jitendra Singh said that BJP National President Amit Shah decided to have a State-wide “Gujarat Gaurav Sampark Abhiyan” wherein, in each Assembly constituency, Party Karyakartas, accompanied by senior leaders, would walk on foot, door-to-door, and educate people about the various public welfare schemes and programmes initiated by the BJP Government.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, the BJP election campaign in Gujarat has truly turned into a mass campaign and the level of enthusiasm is so high that more than the BJP Karyakartas, it is the common masses who are actually campaigning for vote in favour of BJP. This, he said, is an indication of the intensity with which the common man in Gujarat deeply identifies himself with BJP and its leadership headed by Narendra Modi.
Exuding confidence, Dr Jitendra Singh predicted that BJP is all set to register a record victory in the December Assembly poll, which will set a new benchmark for  the other States to follow.
