Dr Jitendra, Mehbooba, others condemn militant attack in Rajouri

JAMMU, Aug 13: There has been wide spread condemnation of grenade attack on BJP leader’s house in Rajouri in which a minor child was killed and six others were injured.
Union Minister, in PMO , Dr Jitendra Singh has strongly condemned the grenade attack on BJP leader’s house in Rajouri. While condemning the attack Dr Jitendra Singh said on Twitter“There is a nexus of vested political interest of vested persons or the groups who are patronised by the powers abroad and also some of those who have made it rich overnight’’.
Dr Jitendra Singh said that some of them want terrorism to continue because they have flourished over the last three decades in this kind of mayhem-even the political class who are contesting elections and getting elected as MPs –MLAs with just 10 percent voter turnout.
Former Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Peoples Conference (PC) chairman, Sajjad Gani Lone have also strongly condemned the attack.
Taking to micro blogging site Twitter, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba said, “I condemn the grenade attack in Rajouri in which a four year old child was killed & several others injured. My sympathies are with their loved ones.”
Former Minister and PC chairman, Sajjad said, “Strongly condemn the killing of BJP Sarpanch Ghulam Rasool Dar and his spouse. Yet again a Kashmiri family is a victim of violence,. Yet again more addition to the community of orphans and hapless victims of gun,. May the killers rot in hell’’.
Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta has strongly condemned the grenade attack on his party leader’s house in Rajouri and termed it a ghastly act. He said the ultras behind this barbaric act be brought to book.
In a statement issued today he said the attack on BJP leader’s house shows the desperation of terrorists as the changes which PM Modi led BJP Government has brought in J&K especially with regard to its special status has unnerved the Pakistan.
President Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Arun Gupta has also strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Rajouri and said that it is high time that people from all sections of society should get united against terrorism as they (terrorists) are enemies of humanity who have brought the J&K to the path of devastation and destruction during last over three decades.
BJP general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta who visited martyr Master Veer Singh’s family in Rajouri today called for strengthening of VDCs in Rajouri and Poonch. During his visit he expressed his deep anguish and sorrow over the attack on party leader Jasbir Singh’s house and termed it a cowardice act of terrorists.
BJP spokesperson and ex MLC G L Raina has also strongly condemned this barbaric act of terrorism and said Pakistan and terrorists will deter India’s resolve in rooting out terrorism from J&K.
To protest against the grenade attack in Rajouri, Rashtriya Bajrang Dal activists held a protest demonstration at Jammu and torched the effigy of Pakistan. The protestors raising slogans against the terrorists and Pakistan demanded immediate arrest of the terrorists responsible for the attack. The protest was led by Rakesh Sharma senior leader of the Rashtriya Bajrangdal.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has strongly condemned the grenade attack on BJP leader’s house in Rajouri in which a two year child was killed and six persons were injured. Talking to reporters here today VHP vice president, Shakti Dutt Sharma and its leader, Rajesh Bhasin said that Pakistani terrorists are in great desperation after seeing that normalcy was returning fast in Kashmir Valley and they have now made the BJP leaders their target. He said neither Pak nor its terrorist groups will succeed in their vicious designs.
Team Jammu has also strongly condemned the terrorists attack in Rajouri. In a statement issued here the chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal termed the attack as barbaric act and demanded that the terrorist camps operating in Pakistan be destroyed completely.
BJP OBC Morcha president, Braham Jyot Satti has also strongly condemned the terrorist attack on his party colleague’s house at Rajouri in which two year old child was killed. The Morcha held a strong protest against the attack at Nowshera and torched the Pak effigy.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has also condemned the attack. In an emergency meeting held under its vice president, Abdul Hamid Choudhary the party described the hurling of grenade over the BJP leader’s house as shocking and highly painful. He termed it a cowardice act.
Apni Party has also strongly condemned the killing of child in the grenade attack in Rajouri yesterday. The party termed it a heinous crime which can’t be justified in any way. The attacker must be arrested and punished under law.
Dogra Front and Shiv Sena led by its president, Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally against the grenade attack in Rajouri and killing of a child. Gupta, while condemning the attack said it is the a latest in the series of attacks on politicians , especially belonging to a certain political party in J&K. He demanded immediate arrest of terrorists responsible for the recent attacks.
Another protest was held by Jammu West Assembly Movement and Mission Statehood led by Sunil Dimple against the grenade attack on BJP leader’s house. Dimple, while condemning the act demanded liberation of PoJK, Gilgit Baltistan from clutches of Pakistan which are the parts of Dogra State of J&K.
Tarun Uppal, chairperson Nirbhay Bharat Foundation (NBF) while condemning the grenade attack on the family of BJP activist in Rajouri raised his serious concern over the role of intelligence in providing advance information of the anticipated terror attack. He expressed his condolences with the bereaved family in Rajouri and with those families whose members were killed by terrorists in Kashmir Valley recently.
Ramesh Khajuria of Mission Modi has also strongly condemned the attack on BJP leader’s house in Rajouri in which a two year old child was killed and six others injured. He termed it an intelligence failure and demanded that in view of drones entering the Indian territory in J&K the security network should be intensified to thwart any mischief of Pakistan.
Kashmir Pandit Conference president (KPC) Kundan Kashmiri has also strongly condemned the attack and killing of a two year old child. In a statement he said this is an eye opener regarding the security situation in J&K where terrorists have regained the ground and made the nationalist people their fresh target.
Rashtriya Atal Sena has also strongly condemned the grenade attack in Rajouri . The State general secretary of the organisation, Shahnawaz Ahanger while strongly condemning the cowardly attack termed it a major security lapse.
BJP senior leader, Mushtaq Noorabadi and party spokesperson, Kulgam and Sarpanch , Chowgam, Vijay Raina have also strongly condemned the attack on their party colleague in Rajouri and demanded security grid be tightened in UT to flush out the terrorists and their harbourers.
Meanwhile Team Mask Force, chairman, Vijay Sharma has made a fervent appeal to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to safeguard the lives of JK UT leaders particularly those of BJP in J&K. In a statement he said hardly any day is lost when leaders particularly of BJP are being attacked by terrorists.
