KATHUA, Apr 5: Col Mahan Singh (Retired), BJP Election Incharge of Basohli Assembly Constituency, today urged the public to vote in favour of party candidate Dr Jitendra Singh, highlighting his remarkable performance as a parliamentarian.
While conducting a series of meetings in Sandhar Panchayat of Sheetal Nagar in Basohli, accompanied by personalities such as Ram Chand (ex-BDO), Prof Angrez Singh, Yubkaran Singh, AS Billawaria, and other senior party leaders, Col Mahan Singh urged the public to throw their support behind the BJP and cast their votes in favour of Dr Jitendra.
The campaigning team received a warm and enthusiastic welcome at Sandhar, Khabbal, Shar, and Tall Badun villages. Col Mahan cited Dr Jitendra’s commendable leadership, pivotal role in the abrogation of Article 35A and 370, the launch of Mission Chandrayan III, and the promotion of the Aromatic Mission, particularly the Lavender-related “Purple Revolution” in Jammu and Kashmir during his ten-year tenure.
During the event, Subedar (Retiredd) Ashok Singh from Sandhar also joined the BJP, marking a significant addition to the party’s fold. Col Mahan Singh warmly welcomed him, expressing optimism about his contribution to the party’s endeavors.
