NEW DELHI, Nov 26 : Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh was presented here today a book on “Modi impact on India”.
The book in Hindi titled “Bharat Kaise Hua Modi-Mai” is written by the coveted “Ram Nath Goenka Award for Journalism” recipient, Santosh Kumar, currently National Deputy Editor of the leading Hindi Daily, Dainik Bhaskar.
Complementing the author for his latest publication, Dr Jitendra Singh described it as a “Research Document” which seeks to objectively study and analyze the various facets of the rise of the Modi phenomenon and at the same time, the intricate nuances underlying the growth of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the world’s largest political party.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, while Modi is the first Prime Minister to have been born in post-independence India and risen to the highest office without the advantage of family lineage or patronage, BJP can be aptly described as the only national political party of Independent India, since it was born as Bharatiya Jan Sangh in 1952 with the basic agenda of realizing the aspirations of independent Indian nation through democratic channels, without compromising the integrity and ethos of Mother India.
The author Santosh Kumar said, he was inspired to write the book when he had once heard Narendra Modi suggesting that there should be a research to study how an election can be contested purely on the basis of the organizational strength and, how much of diligence and hard work is required for it, because that indeed constitutes the true strength of any democracy. He said, Modi’s personal charisma coupled with well-planned strategy had reinforced the organizational structure of BJP.
According to Santosh Kumar, the unique characteristic of the Modi-Amit Shah duo is that they approach every election on a war-footing and look at every election as a challenge, and irrespective of victory or setback, they never allow the pace of organizational activity to slow down, even for a moment. Even in the case of recently held 2019 Parliament election, the preparations had continued uninterruptedly and tirelessly for full five years, beginning immediately after the conclusion of the last Parliament election in 2014.
