Dr Jitendra, Rijiju to lead Tiranga Yatras in Kathua, Leh on Aug 13, 14

JAMMU, Aug 10: Two Union minsters including MoS in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh and MoS Home, Kiran Rijiju will lead Tiranga Yatra in Kathua and Leh districts on August 13 and 14 respectively as a part of nation wide programme in connection with celebration of Azadi 70. Besides MP from Jammu -Poonch Constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma will lead the Tiranga Yatra in Jammu on August 15 while MP from Ladakah  Thupstan Chhewang will participate in rally at Leh along with CEC Leh Dr Sonam Dawa.
This was announced in a meeting of BJP held at Party Headquarters, here at  Trikuta Nagar under the chairmanship of its State president & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A).
The meeting among others was attended by State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and State general secretary Pawan Khajuria  in which the scheduled ‘Tiranga Yatra’ programmes under ‘Azaadi 70’ were discussed and finalized. The meeting was attended  by other office bearers also.
Sat Sharma, informed the meeting that Union MoS, Dr. Jitendra Singh who is also MP from Kathua Doda Lok Sabha Constituency will lead the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in his Constituency and Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma will lead similar yatra in Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency.
The ‘Tiranga Yatra’ to be led by Dr. Jitendra Singh will start on August 13 from Ghagwal in Hiranagar. Another yatra to be led by Jugal Kishore Sharma will start from Trikuta Nagar Office on August 15. Both yatras, after passing through the entire areas of both Parliamentary constituencies, will culminate at Pt. Premnath Dogra Bhawan and Udhampur. ‘Tringa Yatra’ for Leh will be taken out on August 14 to be led by Union MoS Home Kiran Rijiju along with local MP Thupstan Chhewang and CEC Dr. Sonam Dawa and District President Gonboo.
Sat further briefed that State vice-president Yudhvir Sethi will be overall Incharge for Jammu-Poonch Constituency and State general secretary Pawan Khajuria will be overall In charge for Doda-Udhampur constituency for management of these yatras.
Ashok Kaul said that for the smooth conduct of booth the yatras, the party has announced district wise Incharges and Co-Incharges. He told that Vijay Sharma and Ved Mankotia will be Incharge and Co-Incharge respectively for Basohli district and district president Jeevan Lal MLA will accompany them.
Parmodh Kapahi and Arvind Gupta will be Incharge & Co-Incharge for Kathua district and District President Premnath Dogra will accompany them.
Similarly, Rajinder Sharma will be Incharge for Reasi district and district president Kuldeep Dubey will accompany him.
Rajiv Charak and Arun Chhibber will be in charge and co-Incharge for Ramban who will be accompanied by district president Ramesh Sharma.
Anil Parihar will be Incharge for Udhampur district to be accompanied by district President Rakesh Gupta.
Som Raj Khajuria will be Incharge Doda district and district president Manjeet Razdan will accompany him.
For Kishtwar district Munish Sharma will be Incharge and Brij Mohan Sharma as Co-Incharge to be accompanied by district President Manjeet Razdan.
Rajni Sethi will be Incharge and Anuradha Charak as Co-Incharge for Jammu district and district president Baldev Singh Billowria will accompany them.
Jugal Kishore Gupta will be the incharge for Jammu West and District President Ayodhya Gupta will accompany him.
Aseem Gupta will be Incharge and Rakesh Mahajan Co-Incharge for Jammu rural district with district president Omi Khajuria to accompany them.
Bharat Bhushan will be Incharge for Akhnoor district and  Praduman Singh as Co-Incharge with district president Manmohan Singh to accompany them.
Jugal Dogra will be Co-Incharge for Nowshera district and district president Capt (retd) Som Dutt will  accompany him.
S. Varinderjeet Singh is Incharge and Rajinder Gupta as Co-Incharge for Rajouri district and will be accompanied by district president Dinesh Sharma.
Sunil Gupta will be In charge Poonch district with district president Capt (retd) Bansi Lal will accompany him.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa will be Incharge R.S. Pura district with Suraj Singh as Co-Incharge to be accompanied by district president Brijeshwar Rana.
Mamta Singh will be Incharge and Rakesh Mahajan as co-incharge for Samba district to be accompanied by district president Jungveer Singh.
In addition to it, the district teams of morchas will also extend their cooperation and participation in ensuring the successful conduct of the yatras.
