JAMMU, Oct 15: Vice Chancellor University of Jammu, Prof. Manoj Dhar today released a Dogri book titled “Dogri Tay Angrezi , Arbi , Farsi Bhasha” at University of Jammu.
The book is authored by Dr. Joginder Singh, Assistant Professor in Dogri, Government M.A.M. PG College, Jammu. The book is based on grammar and influence of English, Arabic and Persian on Dogri language. This book will help the readers to understand the impact of English, Arabic and Persian on Dogri language.
Registrar University of Jammu Prof. Neetu Andotra was present on the occasion. Renowned Dogri writer and president, Dogri Sanstha, Jammu Prof. Lalit Magtora was guest of honour and Prof. Shivdev Singh Manhas HOD, Department of Dogri , University of Jammu was special guest on the occasion.
Dr. Kuldeep Raina, HOD Music, Government M.A.M. College, Jammu and Dr. Neeraj Sharma Special Secretary to Vice Chancellor was also present on the occasion.
Prof. Manoj Dhar appreciated the efforts of Dr Joginder Singh for the book and said the book will help in promoting the regional language and people to understand the Dogri language better.
