Dr Kamal visits Jagti township

JAMMU, Mar 25: National Conference additional general secretary and MLA, Dr Mustafa Kamaal visited the Jagti Township and held an interaction with the migrants there and discussed their problems with them.
The NC leader expressed concern over the non availability of ration in the township and assured the camp inmates that he will take up the issue with concerned authorities so that ration is supplied in time. He also assured them that he will take up the issue of power tariff with concerned authorities and advocated that camp inmates be provided electricity free of cost.
He informed the camp inmates that steps will be taken for removal of encroachments from migrants land.
The AMCCC leaders led by Desh Rattan appealed the NC leader to impress upon the Government to solve the long pending problems of migrants.
Meanwhile in a meeting of NC Minority Cell led by M K Yogi concern was expressed over non availability of ration at Jagti. Mr Yogi urged CAPD to ensure immediate supply of ration in the camp.
Addressing the meeting Nana Ji Dembi another activist of the Cell appealed the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to ensure free power supply to Jagti and other migrant camps.
