JAMMU, Mar 27: Dr KD Multi-Speciality Hospital, Jammu organized a free mega multi-speciality health camp today in association with SIBA Events and Entertainment.
The camp was organized with the aim of promoting health awareness among the public and offering them easy access to quality healthcare. More than 500 people visited the camp wherein they were offered specialist consultations.
A team of specialist doctors, consultants, nurses and volunteers conducted free consultations and checkups across various specialist departments. Consultation in Ophthalmology were provided by Dr KD Singh and Dr JP Singh, in Orthopaedics by Dr Ranjit singh and Dr Nitin Sharma, in Urology by Dr Anuj Mahajan, in Paediatrics and Neonatology by Dr Deepak Sharma, in Surgical Oncology by Dr Paras Khanna and Dr Gurpreet Kour and in Dental by Dr Rupam Gupta and Dr Rohit Gupta .
Moreover, medicines, laboratory investigations and X-ray services were offered at heavy discount and ECG was offered completely free of cost. Patients requiring diagnostic examinations were tested and their results issued immediately, enabling the dispensation of free medicines without delay.
Commenting on the mega health camp, Dr JP Singh, Managing Director of Dr KD Multispeciality Hospital said they will regularly hold free health camps for the benefit of the public. “We consider this our way of giving back to the society,” he said and added that the camp was helpful in raising awareness on lifestyle-diseases, in addition to giving people free specialist consultations, diagnostic tests and medicines.
Dr KD Multi-speciality Hospital (Maxxus Jammu) team managed the events with Dr Hari Menon (CEO), Harsh Bindra (Marketing Head), other Managers, Department Heads and staff members along with SIBA team Sidharth Verma (co-founder & MD), Baljeet Singh (co-founder and MD), Ramneek Kour (Head Promotions) and other SIBA members.
