JAMMU, Nov 16: Dr K D Multi Speciality Hospital at Marble Market, Trikuta Nagar (Jammu) in collaboration with the Kotli Mahajan Sabha organized a free multi-speciality health checkup camp at Kotli Bhawan, Rehari Colony, Jammu.
The camp was organized with the aim of promoting health awareness among the public and offering them easy access to quality healthcare. More than 300 people visited and availed the camp which offered free of cost specialist consultations and medicines.
A team of specialist doctors, consultants, nurses and volunteers conducted free consultations and checkups across various specialist departments. The free facilities provided in the camps were free Blood Sugar, BP and free ECG.
Doctors who provided their services in the camp were Ophthalmologists Dr KD Singh, Dr JP Singh, Dr Khalid & Dr Bhawana, Physician Dr Ankur Malhotra and Cardiologist Dr Najmus Saqib.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sumit Sharma (CEO of the Hospital) assured that these types of camps will be organized periodically with more facilities. He said that Dr KD Multi Specality Hospital has many facilities including Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Diabetic Specialist, Orthopaedic Physician, Cardiology, Neurology, Gen & Laparoscopic Surgery, Paediatric & Neonatology, Urology, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Onco- Surgery, ENT etc.
Kamal Gupta (president, Kotli Mahajan Sabha, Kotli Colony, Jammu) said that the camp was helpful in raising awareness on lifestyle-diseases, in addition to giving people free specialist consultations, diagnostic tests and medicines.
