SAMBA, June 1: State Aids Prevention and Control Board (SACS) today held a meeting, which was chaired by its Project Director Dr Madhu Khullar.
During the meeting, Dr Khullar reviewed the functioning of the Integrated Counseling Testing Centre (ICTC).
Dr Madhu Khullar during her visit to ICTC centre issued instructions for the improvement and redesigning of the centre. She also issued instructions to the SACS officers to ensure timely supply of the HIV kits and other consumables required for proper functioning and reporting of HIV cases.
Other issues related to dissemination of HIV/AIDS awareness and holding of blood donation camps at block levels were also discussed.
Among others present were Dr AD Singh, Deepika B Thakur, Deputy Directors and other officials of SACS and Health Department.
