LEH, Jan 18: Principal Secretary, Forest, Ecology & Environment, Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal today reviewed the designs and DPRs of various infrastructural projects of the Forest and Wildlife Department, Ladakh.
Convening a meeting in this regard at his office chamber, Leh, Dr Kotwal gave a detailed presentation on the blueprint of the construction of CCF office at Badami Bagh, Skara; demolition and construction of new Divisional Forest at Leh, expansion/upgradation of Forest Rest House at Tangste and construction of additional block at Forest Rest House Hunder.
Further, the officials deliberated on the provision of substation, DG set, UPS, central heating plant, LAN, EPABX and automatic addressable emergency lighting system, video conferencing system, solar water heating system, etc.
Reviewing the DPR for the construction of CCF office at Badami Bagh, Skara, and others, Dr Kotwal stated that the construction should be according to the mandates stipulated by the Forest and Wildlife Department and at the same time should meet the requirements of a place like Ladakh which have different needs owing to its harsh climatic conditions.
The meeting was attended by Sajad Mufti, CCF, Ladakh; Dhawan Rawat, DFO, Leh Forests Division; Mohammad Ali, DFO, Kargil Forests Division and other officers.
