Pays tribute to martyr Bachan Singh

SAMBA, Dec 18: The 62nd martyrdom of Shaheed Bachan Singh, who was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra for his exceptional bravery, was solemnly commemorated in Barota, Ramgarh today. The event was attended by Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh, who paid tribute to the brave martyr and honoured his supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation. The ceremony was a powerful reminder of the lasting legacy of Shaheed Bachan Singh and his exemplary courage.
In his address, Dr. Manyal expressed deep respect for the martyr, emphasizing his unwavering dedication to the nation, which continues to inspire the people of Ramgarh. He called upon the community to remember the sacrifices made by such heroes, whose actions played a vital role in safeguarding the country and protecting its freedom.
Following the commemoration, Dr Manyal visited the villages of Ramloo Brahmana, Kalah and Swankha, where he interacted with residents and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their continued support in electing him as MLA. Dr. Manyal complimented the people of Ramgarh for entrusting him with the responsibility of representing them and assured them of his unwavering commitment to their well-being and development.
During his visit, Dr Manyal reiterated his focus on advancing the Ramgarh constituency by addressing critical issues such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, and other services. He emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the people and their elected representatives to ensure the region’s growth and prosperity.
Dr. Manyal also responded promptly to the local community’s concerns regarding the cleanliness of ponds in the area. In light of residents’ requests, he took immediate action by contacting the BDO of Ramgarh to begin a pond-cleaning initiative. A dedicated team was quickly mobilized to clean the identified ponds,.
Dr. Manyal expressed his firm commitment to ensuring that the concerns of the local community are addressed effectively and efficiently. He stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces and assured the residents that such efforts would continue, leading to long-term improvements in sanitation and hygiene.
