SRINAGAR, May 25: Dr Mohmmad Hussain Mir, Tehsildar Pahalgam today impressed upon the officers/officials of the Tehsil office to work as a dedicated team for fulfilling the aspirations of the people and enhancing the quality of public service delivery.
While taking a review meeting, Dr Mir told senior officers including Naib Tehsildars, health, municipality and other officials to be accessible and responsive to the public. He stressed on effective grievance redressal, transparency and accountability and sought full cooperation from the officers in this regard.
He also expressed commitment for smooth implementation of Master Plan, Land Laws and Protection and Preservation of Natural Heritage of Pahalgam. He asserted that the administration, police and civil society along with PRIs/ULBs, religious leaders and youth should work together for containing the COVID-19 Pandemic, adding, the people should stick to COVID SOPs (CAB).
Dr Mir said the sign and symbol of conscious and progressive society is commitment to rules and regulations which must be followed for greater public welfare. He hoped the public will exhibit active support for protecting the natural heritage of historical and global tourist destination, Pahalgam.
