JAMMU, Nov 1: Dr Mrinal Gupta, a practicing dermatologist (skin specialist) from Jammu, brought laurels to the UT when he was selected for the prestigious UCB European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) scholarship for attending their annual conference for his contributions in the field of pediatric dermatology.
It is considered as one of the most coveted conferences in the field of dermatology and he is the first dermatologist from the UT to have received this award.
An alumnus of Government Medical College, Jammu, Dr Mrinal Gupta has also been awarded the Imrich Sarkany Scholarship by the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), Korean Dermatology Association Young Asian Dermatologist Scholarship and British Association of Dermatologists Travel scholarship in the past.
