Dr Navdeep saves patient with ‘Swallowed Denture’

JAMMU, Nov 4: A 60-year-old lady from Gurdaspur faced a life-threatening problem when she accidentally swallowed her denture, which got stuck in her food pipe.
Over six months, the patient’s condition deteriorated as she could not eat or drink, resulting in loss of more than 20 kg in weight. The situation required urgent medical attention and conventional removal methods such as endoscopy resisted.
