JAMMU, Dec 15: Dr Naveen Kumar Katoch, State Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha J&K, and a resident of Mathrachak (Hiranagar, Kathua) has been conferred with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award (Honourary Doctorate Award) by the Bharath Virtual University for Peace and Education, a unit of UCFT registered under NITI Aayog, Government of India and affiliated with the United Nations Organization, Geneva.
The Award recognizes his outstanding research work in Carbon Nanotubes in the field of science and his exceptional contributions for uplifting the downtrodden sections of society. The award ceremony took place during the University’s convocation held in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Dr Chandrappa Siddappa (Vice Chancellor, Kalinga University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh) was the chief guest of the Convocation while Dr T M Swamy (Director, Bharath Virtual University for Peace and Education) was the special guest. Dr Srinivas Rao Kaveti (Director of International Law, USA), Dr Alize Utteryan (Expert in International Business, UAE) and Dr Geeta Kaveithi (Film Director) attended the function as guests of honour.
The Award highlights Dr Katoch’s contributions to both academia and society, reaffirming his dedication to research and social empowerment.
