JAMMU, July 14: Dr Manoj Nazir’s new three books viz Culture of Gladiolus , Botany Research and Horticulture of Freesia and Zodiac of flowers hit stands today.
The books on floriculture were released by Director Agriculture Jammu, K.K. Sharma at a simple but impressive function held in Agriculture Complex, Talab Tillo near here in presence of galaxy of Agriculture officers of Jammu, scientific community and migrant Agriculture officers.
Director Agriculture Jammu, K.K Sharma who was the chief guest on the occasion appreciated the work of Dr Nazir and his contribution for Jammu division especially in making Gladiolus popular.
Dr Manoj Nazir Scientist Floriculture has many books and papers on varied subjects to his credit. Deputy Director, Agriculture, Jammu was also present on the occasion. He said it is an occasion of delight to develop more varieties in Gladiolus suitable for Jammu division.
