JAMMU, July 4: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Dr Nirmal Singh today addressed a gathering at Mahanpur and briefed the people about developmental works being done by Narendra Modi Government in Basohli, Billawar and Bani areas of Kathua district.
Dr Singh also referred to development works executed by the BJP Government from 2014 to 2018 including upgradation of Mahanpur Sub Station, new Sub Station at Dhar Mahanpur and resolution of other electricity related issues of the people.
A network of roads was constructed in Billawar but Basohli lagged behind as no major development works were carried out there, the former Deputy Chief Minister said.
He said despite being Ranjit Sagar dam, the potential was not exploited.
Dr Nirmal Singh hailed the people for giving massive mandate to the BJP candidate and called upon them to stay united in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP to ensure development in every nook and corner of their areas.
