JAMMU, July 8: Dr Bhupinder Singh Pathania, Professor in Post Graduate Department of Surgery, ASCOMS and Hospital, has been elected as president of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) for the period 2016-18.
Dr Pathania is a pioneer in introducing advanced laparoscopic surgery in J&K state and also Rashtriya Rattan awardee for excellence in field of profession. He is recognized as an expert/guide for Dip MAS course under College of AMASI.
He had attended many workshops and conferences not only various parts of India but also in United States, Europe and Asia Pacific countries as a guest faculty.
