JAMMU, Nov 6: In yet another milestone of academic excellence, son of soil, Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Professor and Head, PG Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu has authored three book chapters in a book published last week.
The book titled “Environment and Health in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Historical and Contemporary Scenario” has been published by international printer Routledge (Taylor and Francis group), London and New York with Rais Akhtar being the Editor.
In Jammu, the book was unveiled by Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu, Dr Ashutosh Gupta in his office chamber in the presence of a bevy of faculty members. Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta has contributed three chapters in the book. The chapters include important public health issues like Iodine Deficiency disorders, Vector Borne diseases and COVID-19.
