JAMMU, July 15: Dr Rakesh Nanda. former Director Education at SKUAST-Jammu, has been appointed as Chairman of Zonal Programme Management Committee (ZPMC) under the Project Attracting & Retaining Youth in Agriculture (ARYA), of ICAR.-ATARI, Zone I, Ludhiana.
According to the order in this regard, nomination of Dr Rakesh Nanda has been made for his being senior expert having acquaintance and knowledge of the area.
The eight- member committee has been constituted for the smooth functioning of the Project, which was approved by the competent authority ICAR, New Delhi.
Interestingly, Dr Rakesh Nanda was denied extension in service up to 65 years as faculty member SKUAST-Jammu.
