JAMMU, July 13: A record was created by Dr Ranjit Singh, after he performed a Knee Replacement Surgery in just 20 mins.
The surgery was performed on a 60 years old patient, Dr Narinder Sharma, who is a leading physician of Jammu.
Dr Sharma was suffering from severe osteo arthritis of knees but was very scared of surgery.
After consulting Dr Ranjit Singh and taking positive feed backs from other elderly patients operated by Dr Ranjit Singh, Dr Sharma made up his mind for surgery.
The surgery was performed at Ivy Hospital Amritsar, in mere 20 mins by Dr Ranjit’s with Zero Error technique. The patient was made to walk few hours after surgery without any pain and by second day patient could walk independently without any help and could go to washroom independently.
Dr Ranjit Singh, who has experience of 20000 surgeries in 15 years, said that such fast track recovery is possible only with his special innovative Zero Error technique.
“The conventional technique of Knee replacement is very cumbersome for the patient and involves lot of bleeding and muscle cutting which leads to slow recovery and patient has to go through lot of pain and misery,” he said.
Dr Ranjit Singh is attached to Ivy Hospital Amritsar and previously he served as Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon at Fortis Hospital Amritsar, Apollo Hospital Amritsar and Shalby hospital Ahmedabad.
