JAMMU, July 2: Dr Ranjit Singh created a record by performing both knees replacement surgery and making the patient walk independently without any support whatsoever, in mere 2 days .
This surgery was done at Apollo Hospital Amritsar by the special Zero Error Technique. The 70-year-old patient Lekh Raj Kukkar hails from Abohar, Punjab. He was suffering from severe osteo arthritis of both knees but was very scared of surgery. After consulting Dr Ranjit Singh and taking positive feed backs from other elderly patients operated by Dr Ranjit Singh Lekh Raj made up his mind for surgery.
The patient was made to walk few hours after surgery without any pain and by second day patient could walk independently without any help and could go to washroom independently. Seeing such miraculous results of Zero Error Technique of knee replacement, the patient was repenting why he wasted so many years without surgery and gave message to all other patients to get maximum benefit out of Dr Ranjit’s exemplary surgical skills.

The conventional technique of knee replacement is very cumbersome for the patient and involves lot of bleeding and muscle cutting which leads to slow recovery and patient has to go through lot of pain and misery.
Presently, Dr Ranjit Singh is attached to Apollo Hospital Amritsar and previously he served as Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon at Fortis Hospital Amritsar and Shalby Hospital Ahmedabad.
