JAMMU, June 18: Dr Ritu Singh today hosted a soulful tribute event at Hari Niwas Palace, expressing gratitude towards the medical fraternity through Yogastotra, meditation, and yoga.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Trikuta Hills, encompassing Mata Vaishno Devi, the Sun, and Tawi River, the event aimed to honor and rejuvenate the doctors and medical faculty, paying heartfelt tribute to their tireless dedication to the well-being of others.
The session commenced with priests dressed in traditional attire chanting pious prayers, invoking the blessings of the Shiva and Shakti forces, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

Dr Ritu Singh delivered a motivational talk, emphasizing the importance of inner health and well-being. She warmly welcomed the guests, expressing deep appreciation for the doctors and students from nursing institutes for their presence and active participation in YogaStotra.
Dr Singh highlighted the significance of self-care and the mind, body, and soul connection in maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life.
Renowned Ayush certified practitioner and fitness Yogini, Pavit Kaur, mesmerized the audience with her expert guidance in step-by-step breath work, including Alom Vilom, stretching, Surya Namaskar, chakra stimulation, and Shvas Asan.
By combining ancient Sanskrit chants with calming yoga practices, she facilitated the harmonization of attendees’ thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being.
The picturesque lawns of Hari Niwas Palace provided an ideal backdrop for this spiritual gathering, fostering an ambiance conducive to introspection and tranquillity.
Para rower Kritika Khanna moderated a motivational and inspirational session, encouraging meaningful discussions and facilitating collective growth.
Yogastotra welcomed individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels, ensuring a transformative and enriching experience for everyone, from seasoned practitioners to newcomers.
Representatives from prestigious institutions such as AIIMS Jammu, KD Superspecialty Hospital, Government Dental College Jammu, Government Nursing College Gandhi Nagar, and DPS Jammu attended the event.
