Srinagar, June 25: The Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department today appointed Dr. Shariq Rashid Masoodi, Professor and Head of the Department of Endocrinology, as Dean of Medical Faculty at SKIMS.
According to an order issued by the Secretary, H&ME Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Dr. Masoodi’s appointment will be effective from April 1, 2024, and will last until February 28, 2025.
Dr. Masoodi is a renowned endocrinologist in J&K, with SKIMS noting-in a handout issued in this regard-that he has significantly contributed to the institute’s development at various levels.
