SRINAGAR, July 19: Dr. Mandeep Singh Sudan has been re-elected as President of Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of Indian Radiological & Imaging Association (IRIA).
This was announced during a day long Continuous Medical Education Programme (CME) and Annual General Body Meeting (GBM) of the state chapter of IRIA. The CME was conduced under the chairmanship of Dr. Feroze Shaheen, Additional Professor Radio-Diagnosis and Imaging at SKIMS-Soura.
Dr. Sajjad Dar and Dr. Narender Sharma will serve the Association as Vice Presidents. Dr. Irfan Roobani, Dr. Bakshi Jahangir and Dr. Rajesh Sharma will represent the State at the Central Council. Dr. Kulbushan Gupta, Dr. Sanjay Bhat and Dr. Parvaiz Nazir have been elected to State Council. Finances of the State Chapter have been entrusted to Dr. Shakil U Rehman Khan while as Dr. Sajjad Peerzada will serve as Secretary of J&K Chapter.
During the CME scientific paper presentations were made by Dr. Omar Shareef Kirmani , Dr. Muhammad Farooq Mir, Dr. Jayesh Jani and Dr. Sheikh Shahnawaz. On the occasion, IRIA J&K Chapter presented Life Time Achievement Award to renowned radiologist of the State Dr. Inder Singh.
