JAMMU, July 17: Dr O S Sudan, former Registrar of Jammu University, has taken over as Chairman of MBS College of Engine-ering & Technology, Babliana, Jammu.
He took over as the Chairman in presence of Mahant Manjit Singh of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch and the Sole Trustee of MBS College, in an impressive function, which was also attended by a large number of dignitaries of civil society and heads of the various Sikh organizations.
Dr Onkar Singh Sudan, a well known educationist of the State, has earlier worked in various Administrative capacities in both Higher Education Department of the State as also the University of Jammu. In JU, he worked with distinction as Regi-strar, Director College Development, Controller of Examinations, Director Distance Education and pioneer Director of both Kathua and Poonch University Campuses. He earlier served as Professor of Zoology in different colleges, for nearly 30 years. He was the Principal of Kathua College also.
