Jammu, Mar 29: Dr Sudhaa Sharma ,noted gynaecologist has been elected as Secretary General IMS (Indian Menopause Society) for the year 2021-22 in virtual ceremony. Secretary General is a pivotal post in running all the affairs of IMS at national level.
Dr Sudhaa, former Professor Department of Gynae & Obst. GMC Jammu has been actively associated with IMS for more than 2 decades. She is the founder president of Jammu chapter of Menopause established way back in 2004 and now converted in Jammu Menopause Society.
She has also been a Member Goverining Council of IMS. Dr Sudhaa was the organising Secretary of IMSCON – 08 held very sucessfully in GMC Jammu.. She has been a resource faculty in formulating national guidelines for the management of different aspects of Menopause & osteoporosis.
