JAMMU, Mar 19: Dr Vishal R Tandon from Govt medical College Jammu has been conferred and honored with most prestigious Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG), Scotland in UK.
The RCPSG, is an oldest and prestigious international institute of Physicians and Surgeons in UK which achieved Royal recognition since 1909 and admits most meritorious faculty as fellow in its academic pool of Physicians and Surgeons based on their immense contributions in their respective specialties.
The honor has followed to him on account of his meritorious and distinct contributions in the field of Medical Education, Research, Medical Journalism, Patient care, Drug safety and Public awareness.
Dr Tandon is a permanent member of World Association of Medical Editor, International Committee of Medical Journal Editor and is rendering his services as National expert in subject expert committee at CDSCO, DCGI and as Signal Review Committee Member in PvPI at NCC-IPC, Gaziabad, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
