JAMMU, Feb 9: Dr Tarsem Singh has been re-elected as the president of Jammu University Library Officers Association (JULOA) whereas Dr Joginder Singh and Dr Bindu Sharma were elected as Vice-president and General Secretary, respectively of the Association for the year 2024-26.
The elections were held during a meeting of the Deputy Librarians and Assistant Librarians of the university, held on the campus.
Rakesh Kumar was elected as Joint Secretary, Azmat Begam as Organising Secretary and Anuradha Sharma as the Treasurer.
After assuming the charge, the new committee discussed various issues related to their profession including timely promotions.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Dr Shaheed Mohammed, Anju Gupta, Dr Anita Sacher, Seema Sharma, Nimmi Suri and Anu Kohli.
