JAMMU, JANUARY 27 : On the 74th Republic Day, Dr. Manmohan Vaiday, RSS Seh Sar Karyavah along with Dr. Gautam Mengi, RSS Jammu Kashmir Prant Sangachalak, hoisted National Flag at Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Nyas, Keshav Bhawan, Ambphalla here yesterday, where many other people from the society were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manmohan Vaiday said “Today is a day of pride for every Indian and we all must resolve to perform our duties as a citizen of the country and performance of these duties should not be occasional but rather we must make these duties as a part and parcel of our daily life”.
He also appealed that every Bharatiya must always be ready to protect the sovereignty and integrity of the country and should make its contribution to make Bharat a self reliant Nation. Prominent among those present at the occasion included Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Nagarmal Gupta, Dr. Asit Mantry and others.
Earlier Dr Vaiday held a detailed meeting with functionaries of Sangh in which among others, Prant Pracharak, Rupesh Kumar and Seh Pracharak Mukesh Kumar were present.
He took a detailed feedback on the prevailing situation in the UT and functioning of the various organs of the Sangh. The RSS leader later held a meeting with students and apprised them of the functioning of the Sangh which from the inception has been wedded to the national cause and strengthening of the nationalist forces in the country.
